So completely randomly, for absolutely no reason at all, two of the characters started talk singing Wannabe by the Spice Girls.

There was no setup for it, and it didnt lead anywhere. It was just... two characters talkings.

Why?

I question what happened in the writers room to get them to do that

Judy punch is EXCELLENT as Esme. The child actors might be mediocre, but goddammnit the adults are fantastic

This season just feels so half-assed, like the actors all just phoned it in during the bits that had them do anything but stand and talk.

Theres literally a scene where two of the characters could have stopped Count Olaf from escaping, but... they didnt. He just did a thing and hes suddenly able to just slip away even though, by all rights, they wouldve been able to keep him from getting away like he did.
