Republican Pennylsvania Congressman, Ryan Costello has announced that he is NOT seeking re-election in November which is boosting Democrat hopes of taking another seat.

This comes after a Democrat upset in March 13th in an area easily won by Trump in 2016 as it's prompting alarm bells for more possible Democrat wins..

Republican Rick Saccone lost to Democrat Donor Lamb in a razor thin win in a republican stronghold.

He said he is not seeking re-election because of the redrawn suburban-Philadelphia district that now favours Democrats and his desire to spend more time with family. He believes that Republicans should be very worried with the 2018 midterms as Democrats may cruise to majority territory

He said "It's the most difficult decision i can recall having to make. I have an 8 month old, a 4 year old and it's a very challenging job serving in Congress"

Rep Steve Stivers said his retirement is a "great loss" as they will work tirelessly to ensure it remains in Republican hands

Is Ryan right that Republicans should be scared of the midterms?
