It's a great start but don't get complacent. The first couple of weeks you'll lose a lot of weight but it will mostly be excess fluids and the like. Be prepared for the rate of loss to slow down around week 3 and mentally prepare yourself for the disappointment of not losing as much on a weekly basis moving forward. That's when it becomes do or die time. Are you committed to this or not? I think you'll do it. But do you?

I don't know. I want so badly to chow down on pizza and drink a bunch of beer. The weirdest part of this is that I've gone since last Sunday without any alcohol.... I haven't gone that long without booze in like 5 or 6 years. I need to get drunk soon.

That desire will only get worse as you notice the rate of loss slows down. Just prepare and know it's coming so then it won't be as big a shock when the temptation really hits hard.

Thank you sir. It's just Nutrisystem, following the guidelines they set. Very tiny meals amounting to less than 1000 cal a day and mostly eating non-starchy vegetables. My main diet is spinach, carrots, and broccoli.

Yeah true. I just think I can't pull it off while still perfectly following this plan.

I can have like ONE beer in a day and count it as my SmartCarb for the night.

Plus just drink straight or with tonic, the soda mixers add up very quickly
