I can imagine that the dog understands this new human is like a puppy. But, as mentioned, there are also situations where dogs don't treat their own puppies all that well either. The videos are cute and all, but always be careful when you let a dog around a baby.

even if dog is friendly around baby i don't want one around for bacteria and parasite reasons. babies way more susceptible to that crap

I grew up in a family that liked having dogs around me as a toddler. We had a collie, a pitbull, and a lab that were all my childhood friends. The pitbull and lab soon had puppies, and I currently own one of them to this day.

i would keep dogs away from babies not only because sometimes they attack them

they can hurt them while trying to play with them too (if it can happen with a cat it can happen with a baby)

Even cats are usually nicer to human babies. Animals are nice to babies of any kind, for the most part.
