Still lived on Earth in the same house and everything was more or less the same, excep technology was far more advanced than what we have today.

Anyways, I was standing out on the front step and heard it. A huge crack as a giant meteor entered the atmosphere. I have to admit, it was really, truly beautiful for a good quarter of a second before I realized it was going to end the world.

Right about then, some music befitting the bright colourful world-ending meteor began to play. I have no clue what was playing it, whether it was the super technology or just me imagining it, but it was there. Don't quite remember what the music sounded like either, just that it was very fitting.

And then it disappeared beyond the horizon. And several seconds later ther was a huge explosion followed by a deafening bang. The thing looked like a nuclear blast.

I could see blast rapidly approaching where I was. So I ran up the steps of the house to try and get inside to at least have a chance of surviving. As I ran up the steps, I thought to myself, "This has to be a dream right?" Which I quickly shot down with, "No. It's not. I would know if it was a dream. This is really happening."

I reached the top of the steps and looked back to see the blast had nearly reached me, and I said, "This really is the end, isn't it?" And as the blast hit me, I woke up.

So yeah, that's about it. There was some other stuff that I think took place before that, but I don't really remember too well.

But I know you're thinking, "What? But that's so obviously a dream. There's literally no way it couldn't be, right?" And for the most part, you're right. However, every single time I've been dreaming and asked myself if it was a dream before now, and it happens often enough, I have always been able to recognize it as such.

Now, I'm not saying that it actually happened, at least not in this universe, but maybe in an alternate one if that is really a thing. My dreams have always felt like dreams, but not that one. It felt too real and looked too colourful to be one of my otherwise mindless, random, grey coloured dreams.

Anyways, that's about all I have for you guys. Maybe you had more fun reading it then I did living out that 15 seconds.

You had a vision of the future. You have to stop it.

Yeah, not sure there's a whole lot I can do to stop a giant meteor. I'm not One Punch Man.

This seems interesting. Do you usually remember your dreams in detail like this?

Did you look at an analog clock, by any chance?

Apparently, lots of people have hard times reading analog clocks in dreams. Idk. Probably a dream. If you say that phrase about "this is a dream, right?" a lot, then your body and mind is use to it. So, probably not a good way to tell... unless you're actually awake. Which kinda doesn't make sense. My dreams have only just become a little different recently, so I can't help much. They use to either take place in the same dream world for years. Or, they were lucid dreams. So, I can help.

I say this because it sounds more like Astral Travel if anything else. Especially if youre having 3 dreams in a row lol

May wanna look into that, youd be surprised at what you find out

Also most people do not really remember their dreams like that, i mean you can definitely just be editing stuff in your OP as to what you think mightve happened

But having consecutive dreams makes me think its astral definitely. If you usually dream a lot and remember most of them definitely look into it, very eye opening

Keep a dream journal. And you have to write like immediately to remember what actually happened. Haha.

Huh. That's weird. I wonder if I've ever seen an analog clock in a dream before though. My dreams might be somewhat like lucid dreams. I used to be able to speed up my dreams or go back to an earlier point in the dream to give myself another chance at doing something, (which almost always ended off worse until it became a literal nightmare) but that was about it. I haven't been able to do that for a good 10-15 years though, but as I said, I can still tell when I'm dreaming. I just can't control anything in it.

Yeah, I might look into it later. But most of my dreams are pretty crazy, pretty much impossible and very obviously a dream when you look back on it.

I did edit some stuff. Like, I don't remember my exact thoughts or words, and I don't quite remember getting up the stairs, but everything else is pretty accurate.

I don't really believe it is, but if it is astral travel or whatever, I want to go back to a dream I had about two years ago. I don't remember much of it, just that there was someone I truly, truly loved there. I can still remember what it felt like to hold her and I'm actually getting a little misty eyed typing this out...

I have considered doing that a few times. Never really felt like doing it though.
