Does yours? Do you even know what this is? In some u.s. states iirc, it's a much lower cost alternative to full coverage auto insurance, you pay less than full coverage but iirc even if you are not at fault in a car accident i think that the insurance won't pay to fix your car. It is only for liability for damage that you may potentially cause to another car or person.

We just call it liability insurance. It protects you if you hit someone else, but if they hit you, too bad. It's useful if your car isn't worth very much.
