Darwin commented on this over 200 years ago, he said that if dogs can change their appearances so fast after dog breeders selectively breed for some traits, then if the earth is incredibly ancient that humans and other animals on earth can change their appearances very rapidly, so to speak, also. Insane people can and regularly function within society as most choices people make in society are not directly linked to their beliefe in where we all came from and where we are going. Recognizing the processes of evolution does not mean you understand evolution either, and plenty of insane people misconstrue science of evolution to support claims of their lifestyle choices like transexuals.
