That was just dumb. It suggests that Jobs killed Hawking for Einstein.

That isn't even it. I don't even get why

A. Hawkins death would be a good birthday present for Einstein or why he'd want that.

and

B. Why the fuck is Jobs even on the same level as these two?

I would bet money that the guy who drew this is a fan of "I Fucking Love Science!"

I'm sure Jobs was well above the minimum threshold for the definition of genius. The dude built the most successful company of all time.

He also thought some stupid new-age diet would cure his cancer.

And Newton believed in alchemy. People have gaps. Also, dude was dying of cancer, cancer determined to be terminal by modern medicine. Can't really fault him if he literally prayed to volcano gods. Aside from wasting the last precious thing he had and lacked.

To be fair, people have been getting super offended at people who say that Hawking is now free of his wheelchair. They say it's ableist or some bullshit.

Which is dumb. Nobody wants to be trapped in their own body, even if a wheelchair gives them better mobility.

Why would he?

It seems weird to me to suggest that in an afterlife this one particular physical thing we deem negative would be changed, but every other physical aspect of these dead people would remain the same.

I'm not religious, but if there were an afterlife, I would imagine it to be one of those things where you're an ideal version of yourself. Like if you die at 100 barely able to move, what's the point in going to the afterlife if you also won't be able to move there? Hawking being unable to move due to his ALS is absolutely not ideal and anyone who thinks so is just being ridiculous.

Because, theoretically, when you die your physical manifestation ceases to exist but your spiritual side and consciousness lives on somewhere.

Why the fuck would he be bound to his body?

Is he even Stephen Hawking if you detach his mind from his body? I can't imagine that the latter doesn't hold tremendous influence over the former.

Except, they aren't? They're literally just a manifestation of how society perceives both of them, and neither of them are literally stuck in a computerized wheelchair literally unable to move.

And yeah, of course he's still Stephen Hawking. Tf?

Stuck in a wheelchair is how society perceives Hawking, though?

I mean for the last 45 or so years all the while that his mind made its greatest discoveries he was stuck in that chair. Just removing that limitation in a snap with no adjustment seems like it would be like going cold turkey.
