They'll be back. From what I've read they are gonna attempt to sell off some of the better-earning stores so I could see that being the case...though they would never be the same obviously. The Toys R' Us in my area is very popular so I'd imagine that one somehow sticks around, but I'm still gonna go hunting for sales. --- R.I.P. Just like with Sharper Image or Hostess (remember the rush to buy Twinkies?), some firm will buy the brand and probably inventory and relaunch the company. Was Twinkie too big to fail? Not really, and Twinkie potentially going out spawned a ton of new Twinkie knock-offs that kinda filled the gap while Hostess was being bought-out. I think had Hostess just went under it wouldn't have mattered too much; Hostess Twinkies started tasting awful maybe about 5-10 years ago. --- R.I.P. Its wild TRU is closing.
The TRU we have here in Lakeland Florida just reopened like 3 months ago. It had been closed for a few years before it reopened around December & now its being shutdown again. ... Copied to Clipboard!
