That's true with some games. And even then for the gameplay part, that can be easily regulated to action scenes. Heck once again look at mortal kombat, only story it had was from the endings. Yes taking liberties on the movie happened. All acceptable liberties, especially since the movie shaped the rest of the games and the more forever. That is a gaming movie done right. Tomb raider should be easy to make a good story and action. The games have a lot of story in them. Like if they ever made a darksouls games. The more is deep and they could easily make some movies from it.
