Board 8 > I dunno how I feel about FFXV *spoilers to where I am*

I did all the side quests on chapter 3. So I am about level 60. Just breezed through chapters 4-6. Apparently "chapters" are just single quests.

So far, I feel like the story is non-existent. The Titan level was kind of cool though. It has all the set up to be cool. I just do not know if it is ever going to actually use any of it.

Combat is cool though it also lets you abuse it.

Thoughts on the game? Or tips?

I have this ultima weapon that I got for upgrading I guess. After costlemark beyond pissed me off after making me fight 3 red giants and a naga like 4 times in a row at level 47.

So far hardest enemies have been couerls, necromancers, yojimbo, and some mech that was just one shotting me randomly.

Level sixty just for doing those sidequest huh?

I think that was my level when I beat the game. Costlemark is horrible man.

The story picks up around chapter 7 and just funnels you through the whole game.

The game and story aren't finished at all. Each chapter is just a little piece that they managed to polish up into something moderately playable. They try to tie things together with thing strings but it doesn't really work. It's like skimming a book. Still fun though.

1-3 are the main open world chapters. 4-6 are more unique gameplay chunks that show off what they wanted the game to be. They're my favorite personally, especially 6. Really cool ideas in there. And then the last chapters railroad you through the main story ideas, which also end up being pretty awesome. But it's still all just ideas.

Basically don't expect anything complete, just enjoy the little pieces.

I am being sent to the vesperpool now. I beat a lot of dungeons that showed up from tidbits. I am pissed I turned in a main quest thinking the chapter would be more than 1 quest so I couldn't get a modifier on my 110k banked xp. That cost me 3 levels.

A lot of the side quests are simply fetch quests. There is like no story to them. It's not like... Please help my brother was attacked by monsters. Or getting to know people or so on. It is just like hey go here get this kthx.

I thought the main party and some of the side characters were really interesting, but this game really demanded a lot more story content. Still, you could always make and FFXV-2.

From what I watched of it the story is kind of lifeless until the very end of the game and then it gets really satisfying. I think its one of those things where you beat it the first time to get the whole story and then you appreciate the second quest that much more or something
