You'd think if you have insurance you'd know what a deductible is and whether you have one or not.

Nope. So it's our fault that their copays are high. >_>

Oh yeah, health insurance is complete garbage. No one really likes dealing with them, but it's what we're stuck with.

Wouldn't it be nice if you guys were allowed to buy foreign insurance? Imagine if you could pay unto Canada care or BrexitHealth

I dunno what the answer is, but there's gotta be a better way to do things than the current system America has.

i hear that

people over here don't understand their insurance at all

people buy these products and don't even try to research what they're buying. they just wanna buy the cheapest option and assume it covers literally everything for free

Nah, 30 mg is the max for that. You wouldn't get any additional benefit out of taking more.

Yeah it's the same thing here. I mean I'll give them that insurance is a complex subject, but I feel like the absolute basics like deductibles, premiums, copays, etc. should be pretty easy to understand and know.

i don't believe you in that tripling the strength of something wouldn't do anything

but no, I do have another appointment Monday about this whole insomnia issue I have right now and hopefully I can get something that actually works

Well, you're right. Tripling the strength of a med when you're at the maximum effective dose will do something. It'll bombard you with negative side effects, if not outright harm you. Almost every drug has diminishing returns on the positive effects, beyond that point there's little to nothing positive to be gained as you saturate the drug's intended target and only leave it open to go elsewhere and cause the side effects.

there are some compounds your body can only absorb so much of until it just either builds up or gets excreted through your urine.

there are lots of vitamins like that for example.

yeah i get it if you don't know every single service your policy does or does not have. but it really sucks when people get pissy with you for not doing their due diligence when you tell them something isn't covered or is more expensive than they assumed.

Story of my life. I hate going out of my way to reduce the costs as much as I can through copay cards or substitutions only for them to be pissed at the price and get upset with me anyway. And then there's the people who make a massive stink over small copays of like $1.25 for three months of drugs. Give me a break people. We don't set your copays.

I'd recommend that far before chemo is on the table. Chemo can easily weaken your immune system and tattoos can definitely be an infection risk.
