Having kids permanently alters your social and hobby life for the worse. By having a kid, you're committing at least two decades of your limited lifespan to loving an entirely new lifestyle. Children place a tremendous burden on relationships. Children also place a tremendous burden on your own sanity and happiness. Kids get sick a lot which exposes you to cold germs and other sicknesses on a regular basis. It requires a lot of work, trial, and error to parent effectively. Despite all your effort, there's no guarantee your child will turn out "good", no matter how good of a parent you are, effectively nullifying the rewarding parts of it.
