so i got really mad at this game last night.

spoilers for keira metz

so i'm running around recruiting people, and i started with keira metz. at first she said she still had unfinished business to do here, but she wouldn't give me a quest. i already had a quest for her, so i eventually found it and did it, which led to me doing her up the butt. ofc.

so i get to the part where she comes out of the tower on fyke island, and i guess i chose the wrong stuff, because it led to me fighting her and killing her.

I'm finally at the part where you defend the Witcher base. I don't think there's very much left to do, but I'm probably wrong.

by far my favorite thing about this game was the reference to snow white and the seven dwarves.

as soon as that one dwarf said his friends called him sleepy or dopey, idr, I thought it had something to do with it. then the five other dudes came out of the house and I realized that there was 7 dwarves total with ciri being the analog for snow white

my wife is completely pissed at this game.

so, kaer morhen or whatever battle, and what happens to vesemir, right? he fucking dies. ciri and him are just all alone there surrounded by dudes.

she's pissed about that. like, where was ANYONE at? not everyone was frozen. only that one dude and geralt was. where was lambert? the dwarf? keira? triss? yen? the sage dude? the ugly nord guy? the assassin dude and his girl? like what the FUCK. they're all hiding in the castle like bitches or something? no, we gotta save ciri and the old guy! it's not like they were fighting anyone, everyone was surrounding ciri and vesemir fucking, rain some hellfire down on them, teleport them out, fucking something, this entire thing could have been prevented

The light hearted quests in that game were definitely my favorite types of quest. They were a really nice change of pace from all the death and killing and flesh eating
