Current Events > should i stay in office mess hall or just rent a room somrwhere?

For background story, i am sent to a branch office in some rural hellhole for a month or so.

There is a room upstairs in our warehouse/office wherr people can stay.

Pros of mess hall:
cost literally zero
No commute. I can wake up 8.15 erryday and not be late since work is literally downstairs.

Cons:
Kind of unsanitary. It is acceptable level, but yeah not ideal. The rooms are fine tho.

The worst thing is since it is a warehouse it is quite far from nearest market. Like shopping for living needs are quite a hassle. They do leave one company car that i can freely use.

I dunno. The room i want to rent is far easier to live in, much more comfortable simce it is near the town center, but it is 45 - 1 hour commute.

It really feels good to sleep 12 AM and still have 8 hours of full sleep o_0
