I never thought it was reasonable. Teachers are allowed a certain amount of time for a lecture and it is on a tight schedule. Making children late to their late and then next class then sets the rest of the day behind for others.

It's inconsiderate on the teacher's part.


If its a few minutes, sure. If its a few seconds just so she can finish her sentence or thought, then that is absolutely reasonable. If 10 seconds is too drastic for you to make it to your next class on time then there is a time management that is faulty on your part.
