Before about 30+ years ago you would be having tons of sex in that era seeing as how the population went through a rapid growth back then.

Now we lose our virginity at a much later age now I'm not saying that's bad but what has made this change? It's quite significant that they spend so much time doing it and almost everyone did, it wasn't a big deal.

According to some studies, yeah. People in 1st world countries are having less and less sex than ever before. Despite being thought of as the "hookup culture", it's quite odd.

I think it has lots to do with distractions. Internet, social media, games, etc. Also, people don't want families and kids so much anymore.

It's usually a correlation.

And I've heard that millennials don't go out near as much as previous generations. Kind of hard to meet people to have sex wirh if you don't go out and mingle...

Also, yeah. The sexes have become on equal financial power. Women just don't have the time to date and court men like they used to! They're busy with careers.

I think that's a case of last-gen minsets not translation to current gen. Its sort of like people saying kids aren't socializing as much as they used to when in reality they're constantly connected to social media.

Millennials don't go out as much, but they've also embraced dating sites and apps like tinder. The era of having to go out to meet people is over, so it's not quite fair to judge them by old standards.

I think there's an issue with this, though. You can't tell what a person is like without meeting them first, so you're setting up a lot of potentially bad dates, and jaded people. Then there's the issue of online dating being skewed in women's favor (any average looking girl becomes prime meat, while anywhere else and she's just okay looking), and you've got over-picky women, and over-thirsty men.

I mean... it's a nice anecdote, but it's better to meet a potential mate, you know, in person?
