Actually really impressed with the "dynamic weather" feature, whenever that got added. New animations to match the weather outside are cool, plus seeing a chance to get different pokemon is always welcome.

I did my first raid today, not really knowing what it was about, other than they offer chances to get legendaries. It just happened to be at the gym near the place I went for lunch, so I sat in my car as the countdown was about 2 minutes when I arrived. The icon was a little pink egg, so I thought maybe that was the reward for winning the raid. Like a special egg that has higher chances to hatch something cool or whatever.

But nah, the egg is just a way of hiding what the raid pokemon is until the raid begins. So yeah it was just a Dewgong. I figured I'd stay anyways just to participate. Got some EXP and a few random items. Nothing groundbreaking, but at least I know how they work now, since the chance to catch said raid pokemon comes when you defeat it. There were two other people partaking, which helped speed things along since there's only a three minute time limit to win.

Not bad. People will claim the game is dead, but it's really not.

I'd really like to see some event that "switches biomes" for a period of time or something. I live in a water biome for example, and I've already got a dozen Spheals in the last ~24-36 hours of playing again. Haven't seen a single fire pokemon.

The weather system actually helps with this - should see more Fire/Ground/Grass spawns in Clear weather.

Raids have become the primary focus of the game, for better or worse. But they're slowly getting more features out, and seem to be shifting to smaller but more frequent events rather than larger events once every month or two.

I played that game for a good while but eventually stopped. Probably won't get back to it until they finally add PvP battles.

Lol they musta fucked up the GPS tracking though because I've been sitting in my apartment and I've hatched three 2k eggs just by letting the game idle while my avatar randomly wanders around a bit

i never remember it being this bad but hey im not complaining
