Ok, you're great at saving your money. You've invested in your retirement and maxed out your annual contributions every year.... but whats the point in saving all that money if you're not going to spend it?

Point is, save your money but dont be afraid to spend some of it to enjoy your younger years.

However, the point is to save enough to retire before 65. I don't know about you, but I'd rather be retired in my mid 40s to early 50s then waste even more time working.

You're absolutely right. It's probable but not guaranteed that you'll make it to that age. I agree that it's best to strike a balance between investing in your future and investing in present-day positive experiences.

Exactly. Early retirement is generally the goal here. Better to be retired early than to be stuck working some stupid job until you die just because you wanted to waste money on frivolous bullshit.
