I shop at Target more than Wal-Mart. Why is that?

The stores feel about the same to me. Now the PEOPLE in the stores. Yeah there's a pretty wide gap there.

yeah that's really not what it means at all. most of the trashy people you see at Walmart are redneck white trash.

It's the lighting, and I don't think Walmart has ceilings.

Wal Marts have that bright LED lighting and the bare ceilings showing girders and electrical wire all colored white which gives off a sterile, industrial feel. Plus them being usually larger enhances all of that.

Everything feels much more spread out in Target.
The walkways aren't so narrow.

And then Target has all this unmaintained ceiling paneling with brown spots and holes.

It might be trashy, but at least you don't feel that your soul is crushing under a great weight like you do when entering a Wal Mart. I guess I've been lucky in that all the Targets I've been in were in pretty good shape, for a store like that.

Nah, I'd rather have the raw experience of "get your shit and get out" than a pitiful attempt at pretending to be classy.

I feel the same way. Target has cooler shopping carts, too. And that popcorn smell that greets you when you walk in.

Though I don't shop at either too often, Target has a much better ambience.

Target couldn't make it in the true north sonic dunno bout it. But Walmart is the worst. I shop there but it's like it magically turns 99% of people into oblivious dicks and for some reason parents are incapable of parenting within those walls.
