Used it every day for quite some time when I was working in restaurants in Virginia. Although, I learned more there than at school.

I don't find myself in situations where I need to speak Spanish, but I do often find it helpful in my work to be able to read it

I have had several vacations in Spanish speaking places, and yes it has helped that I know enough to ask basic questions.

I don't think I've ever met anyone who didn't speak English.

'Yes' for English,
'Meh, kinda' for French,
'Never learned it enough to properly use it but would sure like to' for Spanish,
and 'Oh right, I did learn this thing in the past lol, it was, like, pointless' for Chinese.
