I think it's worth it just to get more +3 rings and the other version of the boss transfusions.

That fight gets successively more annoying each time around. Like I mentioned last time you can go bleed (Dorhy's gnawing works WONDERS) or if you're rolling STR the BKGaxe does nicely with the damage bonus vs demons.
