I do, but I would've only been like 5 (1994/1995.) My dad had a computer with Windows 3.11 on it, some accounting software and a few games like JezzBall and Chip's Challenge.

Honestly yeah, this.

Having to remember street names and step by step directions would be a nightmare if you're going to an unfamiliar place, especially if you missed a turn.

Luckily I started driving right at the time GPS became common.

I only had to use a map one time recently. it was in 2014. didn't have GPS in my car and no phone on me at the time

I miss it tbh. There was something special about not having everything so readily available. For example, if you got stuck in a game, you had to keep trying until you figured it out, ask your friends about it, or bust out your copy of Nintendo Power.

I remember a movie where somebody was typing and on the computer screen, a green and black thing, popped up a message saying 'Welcome To The Internet' lol....

If anybody remembers what movie this is from, you have my undying respect cause i'm at a loss.

The original TMNT was never a good cartoon; we just didn't know any better.

The toys and video games based on it were fucking top-notch though.

The only GREAT TMNT thing is the 1990 movie. Secret of the Ooze is good but doesn't touch the first. The third one with the time travel sucks. The cartoons suck. The new movies suck.

I watch the first two movies a couple times a year.

I remember playing multiplayer games in the same room and the world seemed bigger.

I remember those old accounting software, early excel types of things too - they were terrible and simple, but kinda satisfying and making a pie chart was like a major employable skill. Now it's a pretty standard requirement for any job. Same with emails - they were supposed to speed things up but they kinda just take up everyones time instead.

Technically it was around in bare bones format when I was in elementary school but I barely had any access to it outside of school labs. In practical terms, not really, but the first ten or so years of my life were fairly fucking internet free.

Born in 83, so yeah, I remember it. The 90s was a fun time. I still remember going to the movie theatre opening night to see street fighter 2 just like it was yesterday......the look on me, my older brother, his best friend, and my best friend's faces had to have been the most hilarious sight on the planet.

My family didn't get our first computer until like, 2001 I believe. Some hewlett packard pos with like, 3 gigs of hdd memory. Good times.
