I dont think we are quite at planet destroying(as in actually fragmenting the planet into pieces or even complete disentigration) but we could probably make a single bomb strong enough to turn an entire continent into a crater if we in the ridiculously so absurdly remote chance of happening scenario that a country actually invested the obscene amount of time and resources needed for such a thing(not to mention the whole if there is an accident the whole country and most if not all of humanity dies or even actually use it on someone which even on the opposite end of the planet probably would still kill us) And its fucking dragon Ball where you can shoot stronger energy beams by taking off your heavy clothes that weigh over a fucking ton, beings billions of times stronger than a guy who can vaporize the moon shoot energy beams at max power that somehow dont instantly incinerate or kill everything within several hundred thousand miles because at that point you are essentially hurling compressed stars at people.
