I'm like halfway in. It's pretty bad. The editing is weird, the writing sucks so far and for some reason they tell or show bad jokes, proceed to explain the joke for no reason and linger on the dumb joke. But in a weird way, it's got my attention. I'm kind of invested in it.

Oh and Kevin Conroy just showed up with a kid named Robin.

I will say though, the thing with the love interest was a nice little spin, somewhat subversive and would have been better in an actual good black comedy.
The satellite love interest that one of the girls like is a cool senior that invites them to a party earlier in the film. They get called into work that day, so they can't make the party. It turns out there isn't a party and the guy and his friend was actually planning on murdering them. They're the serial killers that's been reported on the news throughout the movie up until this point.

I don't know. It's hard for me to describe how bad it is. It's not even a special kind of bad, it's just "Yeah, that was bad." Just nothingness. I went in knowing the movie was bad, so that's probably why it didn't surprise me that it sucked or anything. Kevin Smith just basically made the movie because he could and he was bored, I would assume. It's the only explanation.

I gotta say, that was probably the best Johnny Depp disguise ever. I literally didn't realize it was him till later on when I learned the girls at the convenience store were Smith and Depp's daughters and the fucking detective was actually Depp himself.

I didn't know it was him either until the third act.
