Current Events > Destiny 2 looks kind of cool, shame about all the BS surrounding it

I like the particle effects from weapon fire and the general aesthetic of the characters

But after reading all the shady BS Bungie has done for the sake of railroading you into buying their lootboxes I'm not even going to bother

You dont need lootboxes for anything worth doing, whats real dumb is the lack of overall content and things to do tbh. First DLC was a major disappointment

Being cosmetic only doesn't make them not slimy. After reading about Bungie turning shaders into one time consumables secretly reducing your XP gain, secretly doubling the XP necessary to level up, and gating off previously available content behind a paywall I don't want to touch this game with a ten foot pole

1) cosmetic bullshit is stupid
2) the shaders change was stupid, but not the only thing wrong with them
3) XP literally does not matter as you insta-level 20 at the end of the (short) campaign
4) they only gate the Nightfall when its the DLC strike

You literally could not be more wrong on why you wont play the game. It has tons (repeat: TONS) of faults, but nothing youre bitching about is actually bad (outside of the shader thing, which is again, cosmetic bullshit).

Does it not speak volumes that as an outsider just poking his head in to check the shit out this is the knowledge I understand about the game most? You should be more upset Bungie got it to this point than upset as me for not knowing something a non Destiny player wouldn't know
