Depends on where you live and what kinks and groups you are looking at.

Portland, OR? There's tons of events around here and a handful are so legit that there's dress codes and cover fees and everything except for single girls, and the only people allowed through had to pass a community check type of thing where others who are already approved can vouch for you.

Just proceed cautiously, know your limits and always assume a cover fee for any club.
