You had to send it like a week before the due date too. It would be like 3 days to actually get there and then another day or two of processing it. Everybody made a killing in late fees.

yeah nowadays you can be like 5 days late and most creditors wont charge a late fee

was check by phone a thing before internet? my car payment is made by calling a number and entering my routing checking and a check number.

There's a mail box right on the corner of my street so I just use that
