Me and my fiancee went to an open house where you learn the basics, a few years back. It was pretty fun. Sliding around is actually a lot easier than you'd think. The stones are HEAVY though.

They actually run a league out of the rink it took place at, but it's like a 45 min drive so we never joined. Maybe we'll look into it again.
