Current Events > Took a prisoner to the hospital today. It was unique and fun >_>

First I had to go through 2 gates with the ambulance and they had to take our phones away so people wouldn't smuggle them in for prisoners apparently. I got escorted through the mens and womens single cells. One of the women cells had a completely nude black chick holding her titties and staring at us. Was pretty nice >_> Then they went into the patient's cell and hand cuffed their hands and legs before we could even go in. We put them on the stretcher and got escorted out with 2 guards with me the whole time to the hospital.

Some of the prisoners got pretty close during the process. Some of them were just walking around doing cleaning and such but there was always guards nearby them. They all stared the entire time, including the naked black lady. I guess it's something interesting in their day >_> I even got to see a dude go into the prison office to get processed while we waited for the escort. The food there is pretty bad tho. All this patient had was a nasty looking sandwich, an apple, and milk for lunch. And all their meds were in paper envelopes instead of an RX bottle (I guess so they can't shank people with it? idk >_>)

Why do you think the prisoner got a bad sandwich? Ive heard prison food is supposed to be better than the stuff they give at college cafes because prisoners will riot due to bad food while college kids dont. When I was in college, the food was okay but not something I would eat everyday.

The kid that told me this in college was a smelly know it all but I have no idea if this true because I have never been to prison or bothered to look up this fact. I just thought of it because of this topic

Well I mean to be fair it varies from prison to prison, but in general its not great.

Did you take them into the hospital or anything? I remember when I was in the hospital I got taken down for lunch into these underground tunnels under the hospital used for maintenance and there was a prisoner being transported under gun point and in handcuffs in stuff. Anything crazy like that?

Nah, went right into the ER door like every other patient lol. Lots of patients were staring at us. We put the prisoner in the room while still handcuffed and the 2 escorts stay with them the whole time.

Sounds like the guy you saw might've been a fresh arrest? idk. It was more lax with our prisoner >_>

it depends on the prison, but the prison food is even worse than school food.

Yeah, I don't know how someone would realistically think that colleges serve worse food than prisons. A cousin of mine has been to jail/prison a few times in a couple of different states. In Arizona, he said they barely gave them any food and absolutely no meat. He described one meal as being simply a piece of bread and some peanut butter for protein. In Texas, he said that they at least gave them meat (phrasing!). In both places, the bread was stale/questionable and very frequently came from a loaf that had visible mold on it.

That said, richer districts and cities do tend to have better food, but I guess I'm spoiled since my college's cafeterias were really good.

And oh yeah, at a college, you have an option on what you eat and can go back for seconds. What is with this misinformation that people claim.
