36 y/o Lauren Cohan, who portrays Maggie, is mulling whether to walk away from the once mighty The Walking Dead as she is without a contract for the next season. She has booked a lead role in an ABC pilot called Whiskey Cavalier. She's one of the in most in demand actresses in the pilot season and sources say she's battling AMC over her salary. She doesn't want parity with the male stars but is outraged over the low ball offers that AMC is offering. She and her agents are not using this as a tactic to force their hand but still wants to have an open mind on her next project.

Steve Yuen, who played her husband last season exited the show last year after his untimely demise..

Either she leaves after season 8 or re-signs to return as a regular or move forward at ABC and do only a small handful of season 9 episodes before leaving..

Eh, either way. Show's about done anyway, yeah, they got renewed for 9, 10 might happen but that'll be it.

Its been fun, hopefully they have an ending already in mind

I think I stopped around season 3. I am not familiar with the comics but when drama between the humans became the bigger threat than the zombies, I think I lost interest.
