The MCU villains have gotten a lot better lately.

Yeah, I noticed.

I quite liked Ego too.

LOL no, they screwed up his character so bad in that movie I want to forget he was even in that movie. Karl Mordo on the other hand has good potential in being an interesting villain. I just hope they don't MCU Ultron him.

Killmonger and Vulture are the best villains in the MCU because you get to see straight up there character development and the reasons why they turned out the way they did. For the longest time MCU had very generic and boring villains (Ultron being the biggest waste of them all). The MCU villains are nowhere near the Dark Knight's Joker level, but hopefully we will see one that can match up to it.

Ego
Hela
Killmonger
Loki
Vulture

None of those characters hold a light to Heath Ledger's Joker, like not even close. Hell I'll argue that Two Face is more interesting than most of the characters in your list, but all of them definitely beat Bane.

Loki is an antagonist, not a villain.

Hela was a boring character with no personification people only like her because evil bondage milf. She's not fundamentally different from Ultros or Ronan.

Lolol

Okay we can stop having discussions now.

I don't think many villains would ever really come close to TDK The Joker. That seemed like a new milestone was being reached for superhero movies. Even ignoring that the character just has a crazy amount of potential to be a compelling movie villain. He's the perfect antagonist for a hero and it's pretty obvious if he's being copied.

Green Goblin, Magneto and maybe Venom could be really fantastic in the MCU if done well. But I've always preferred the more personal villains than the 'world ender' sorta villains.
