Jordan kept saying things like our people were in chains etc but what Wakandans were slaves and why would Wakandans feel all black people were their people

To me it would be like if the Irish were being punished/discrimianted against and Norway was like we will not let our people suffer!!!

Jordans dad saw the same thing. Which is what bugged me. Wouldnt he want all people outside to thrive?

He was raised as a black man in America, not a black man in Wakanda. All he heard growing up from his dad was how amazing Wakandan people and technology are. When his dad died and he was left there in America, he grew to believe that Wakanda abandoned him just like all the other black people who were suffering throughout history. Nakia felt the same way, going on missions throughout africa to help people instead of staying safe in wakanda because she couldn't ignore the shit going down.

Why wouldn't who want them to thrive? Because N'Jobu, Killmonger, and T'Challa clearly stated that they were uneasy with how much Wakanda had knowing what was going on outside it's borders.

That was actually something the movie did well. I appreciated that they didn't reduce brotherhood to just a matter of skin color, and the Black Panther's speech at the end of the movie was excellent. Where Killmonger believed Wakandans were obligated to help other people with black skin just because of black skin, Black Panther believed that Wakandans were obligated to help everyone.

Still confused on why T'Challa doesn't say anything about Killmonger's father helping Claw. That would have stopped most of the fighting.

Yeah but he also actually finally ended him. He also wanted to use the spies in a way that W'Kabi agreed with.

Doesn't stop the fact that if Killmonger's father didn't let Klaue in, his own parents wouldn't have died to begin with and he saved Klaue from being taken to Wakanda and therefore to him.
