Or like, why didn't they build their hideout closer to the time machine? Why didn't Trunks just fly over and grab Mai before black was obviously about to shoot, he can clearly dodge those things!? I'm just saiyan, Mai didn't have to die... first they get rid of the trunks x mai stuff from the first movie and now this.. Also, would it have been too bad to put a little more focus on Trunks? He's my all time favorite character next to piccolo but he gets thrown under the bus a lot even in Z during his own arc! and ~~Mai is alive?? could trunks or black not sense that shit?
