Truth be told, I'd be willing to give up most of them now. I just don't need them. If I could get what I paid for them, I'd give most of them up. Probably would stash a pistol and a shotgun away though.

Eh I'm not sure. I have friends in the Bay area that said they're going down shooting which leads me to believe other areas will have even more fanatical people.

Plus its not like its illegal. People have a right to defend their property and a defense against tyranny is never morally reprehensible.

I feel like you underestimate the will and fuck off attitude of the American people. Americans are taught from an early age that fuck you is the correct response to tyranny and that fighting back is heroic.

Anything less than armed revolution would be seen as cowardice.

theres already been many cases of people being sick of the government and taking matters into their own hand and it was over less than what this topic is discussing.

I mean, a bunch of goat hearders have fought off the US government for 17 years armed with bottle rockets and AK's.
Then you add in that our military is made up of volunteers who aren't very likely to just start shooting their friends and family if they were told to.

I'd be disappointed but I'd probably give them up. I'm not a gun nut and all the guns I own are simply used for hunting. I'm not someone that carries one around thinking I'll need it for defense either. If they're banned I wouldn't have any use for them anymore

I'd prefer something like UK has if we're going to do something serious though where I'd be able to obtain a certificate specifically for guns that I could use to hunt
