That church one a while back was horrific.
I have got to the point when I used to feel upset about it.
But I've come to realise as long as you all love guns in your culture and can freely purchase them well its kind of expected to happen. There is nothing you can do about it.

Imagine thinking guns are evil not the person weilding it.

Do you think knives and swords are evil too ?

I've have acknowledged that it's the mental person. I have said it's to be expected. I'm not scared of guns, knives or baseball bats. But I'm not going to feel bad for you when the culture you're part of gets a hard on for guns

Shooting clays, paper targets, and in competition is a sport like football, baseball, or basketball. Using a weapon to keep your family safe is also important for many people, same with conceal carry as 99% of gun owners are not your spree killers, or school shooters.

I use guns for recreation and for my career, the issue is mental health, bullying, and assholes who are angry at the world.

I promote the ownership of smart guns. Its one of my many problems with the NRA.

Proud liberal gun owner.

Smart guns are not a good answer though, hell they are more of a problem, should you have a home invasion and the smart gun owner gets shot no one else in his family has time to put on the strap and fight back. Having a gun only fire for certain people is good in theory but in reality it is a death sentence for most good people.

The other issue is what happens when the feature fails you ?, nothing is perfect and adding more complication to a gun imcreases the chance of failure, misfire, or stovepipe jamming.

True they have their own problems. Still they are not the horrible monstrosity the NRA makes them out to be.
