Not really on my radar. Though a better example would be why men dont go into teaching since many young boys dont see male role models in school.

I don't think they're big issues. I care if there's an actual discriminatory policy that keeps men or women out of certain fields. I don't particularly care about the choices individuals make (in this context).

Is there a big discriminatory policy in Vet or Nursing? If so whyd you bring it up? Im inferring that men are more likely to go to be (people) doctors rather than nursing/vets....

There's not. Or, there's no evidence of any discrimination towards men in these fields. And that's the whole point.

When there's a disparity in a field that favors women, it never crosses anyone's mind that sexism might have something to do with. But, when there's any disparity where men are favored, sexism is immediately assumed. And when there's no evidence of sexism found on the part of the company, then there must some sort of underlying sexism in society that's pushing women into making "bad" choices.

Um yes, i just gave an example. Teaching. And there are studies on this talking about the sexism male teachers face from parents about fears of pedophilia.
