I can only really do main quests so far and I'm only rank like 3 or 4, but I'm dicking around with different weapons and seeing what works. --- Not removing this until Pat Benatar is in Super Smash Bros. And as a switch axe user, and heavy weapons user in general in MH games, sheath constantly, you should never be walking around with your weapon out. After an attack, dodge, sheath, run, always. Find a new position or opening and do a draw attack, dodge, sheath, run, repeat. Your early hunts should last around 15-20 minutes while your later hunts can last 30+ depending on your skill. Just think of it in terms of time.
