Because Tim Hortons is crap. I tried it and it sucked. It's just a glorified combo subway/Starbucks/Dunkin donuts

That's not how it worked.
Burger King was bought by 3G Capital back in 2010. 3G Capital then bought Tim Hortons in 2014, and in that transaction they merged Tim Hortons and Burger King as subsidiaries of a new parent company called Restaurant Brands International (which 3G owns 51% of). RBI then bought Popeyes last year as well. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
