As per Cait and Cid H, I can't be expected to have every "common sense" option available from the get go

Alt keys come in as they are brought up, that's just how this all works and I honestly don't appreciate the tone when the alternative to progressive alt keys is zero alt key

The standard save keys are posted in the OP and *every single update* for a reason, the bot is not a human so follow the rules unless you know an alt key has been added and if not you only need to request it while I'm up

i wasn't the one trying to save Red the wrong way (i wouldn't normally be saving Red at all, but was just trying to end the round the way it was supposed to go). more of a surprise than a complaint. like sure you can't account for every possible way someone is going to say "Cid FF7." but "Cait Sith" and "Red XIII" are the two i would think of as super obvious to add, because those are their names and that's how people refer to them casually.

Saves are made through save keys, not by "names" which is the reason that fact is *bolded* in the OP and the why save keys are appended to every single update

Characters with spaces cause for extra parsing work to function as save keys, the alt save feature is what translates this work. We just had a whole contest where this hasn't come up because people read the rules and save the given save keys until confirmation is made of alternative options.
