It really does reek of "I'm a bitter beta man who likes seeing super heroes beat up my childhood bullies and more virile high school rival males...."

I'd be pretty embarrassed.

None of this makes sense, maybe you dont actually watch the superhero films and just made a baseless judgement.

maybe you don't realize but literaly ever single movie that Marvel has done for the past DECADE has been leading up to this movie. every single film was building on a universe, so that they could this right here. Infinity War. Thanos invades the earth and the entire cast of the Marvel Cinematic Universe teams up to resist him. if you don't get why that is awesome, you didn't pay any attention at all to the what these movies were doing, or you don't read comics and you have no idea who Thanos is. but there is a reason why people are excited for this movie.

To me it actually is a little different and I'll tell you why even though apparently my opinion is very unwelcome on this board (I wonder why)

Action movies (that only require a modest suspension of disbelief [realistic movies]) represent the successful procreative man /generally/, i'm talking in patterns not absolutes... The superhero movie is about peter parker, steven rogers, etc. a small weak (beta) becoming supreme over the normal virile man through some strange fluke... gets the girl, etc.

I've not played a video game for any extended amount of time for probably going on 6 years. I wasn't speaking in absolute terms I'll repeat. But yeah, even when I did, it was a modest amount, I didn't even REALIZE until I was about 22 in the Army, how many people spend literally all of their free time playing video games and indulging in fantasy. Indolent childish behavior that makes it WAY more easy for me to get laid. But I do wish for many men's mental health and future that this trend be reversed... really...

Lifting weights does not a man make. I love lifting; I don't think the obsession is healthy either, it often does stem from a victimhood sort of thing, like becoming their own super hero to the exclusion of responsibilities... That's why you go to those wasteland gym temples like in gold's in california or harbor in brooklyn and you see people living out of cars and just lifting and trying to get supplement sponsorships... (I've seen all that crap) It's also escapism... I'd say a little healthier and more procreative than an obsession with superhero movies however lmao....

I was wrong, considering that even is your uniform. It would be just as easy to grab one out of the closet of someone you lived with that served. I didn't think an adult that served would act like such a child on the internet, especially someone who "hasn't played a video game in 6 years" yet still visits a video game forum to troll. My mistake, makes me lose a bit of hope that even if someone can serve can come out learning absolutely nothing about respect and honor.

Your whole statement is just "ITS NOT URS! >:U" when it obviously is, I put in my DD 214 buddy, you think kids who havent served just have uniforms and respective DD 214s handy...? The denial is AMAZING.

Also your statement is based on the premise that my intention is to troll for my enjoyment, no I think young men have a new problem where they can retreat from real-world problems and that in turn is devastating for society... Indolent young adults have allowed our society to slip into latter roman-empire level hedonism and complacency.

Yeah, amazing. It took me a 10 second web search to find a printable copy of discharge papers, filled out or blank. Seriously, google it and see how easy it is. And no one in the world lives with someone that served in the military that has a uniform in their house somewhere. The impossibilities are unfathomable, how could I be so wrong? It's so obviously yours.

You may want to go through another mental evaluation if people liking movies bothers you this much.
