I don't care if you guys call it trash, the game looks amazing and I'm sure the gameplay is amazing as well. And as a Gameplay-only fella that's what matters.

Like, the game's like Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes mixed, right? That's a wet dream for me right there. I loved both of those games. Well, the vehicle battles in PW got repetitive but I still did the for the achievement. But seeing your base grow and stuff, good shit. And GZ is just so great gameplay-wise that I still replay random missions just to enjoy it. Heck, I beat all missions on both difficulties on PC and x360. And I would definitely do it again on ps3, ps4 and Xbone.

TPP must be a dream come true for me.

Alas, I can't afford it :(

all memes aside:

the core gameplay (running/shooting/stealth/etc) of MGSV is really, really good. like from this perspective i would say it is possibly the greatest 3rd person action game I have ever played.

however there are a ton of a huge flaws in the gameplay when you look at it from a broader sense. there are only a few missions that stand out as memorable and well crafted missions, with the rest of them ranging from dull cut and paste shit to very unpleasant .

then when you get to the side shit outside of the core gamplay things look even worse. i wont go into more detail but i think at its core MGSV is a very good game, but it fails with pretty much every other element of a video game

The game does have its moments, and when story happens it's pretty hype and interesting, at least to me. Some people didn't like Snake's new VA but he did a pretty good job and it felt natural, with the few lines he did speak.

Missions get repetitive with their structure but there are some that really stuck out to me and will end up among some of the series' iconic moments, I firmly believe.
