I think I'm gunna buy it right now... I have super fond memories of XII, and have always wanted to play the zodiac edition.

Zodiac Edition was originally not released in the US if I remember correctly... It has improved battle mechanics and uses the Job system instead of broken ass skill board thing.

It still uses the license board, but it's split up into jobs, so no character can do and use everything anymore.

It's really good. I never played ZS til the ps4 release. Tons of fun with the new job system, pretty much use any character in any job you want. Improved battle mechanics seem smoother than the original.

I still haven't beaten it. I got right near endgame boss and started doing the hunts and whatnot. Pretty sure the only big baddie I had left to do was omega.

I'll get it when people start creating mods. They aren't supported, but making them should be doable.

I quit halfway through, they keep sending you into these lame dungeons and make you solve stupid boring puzzles and it just isn't fun. The story is boring too.
