Let's say you see someone squatting and coming nowhere near parallel or benching with her arms at a right angle the whole way. Do you consider it socially acceptable to point it out to them?

Some say that his voice can only be heard by cats, and that he has two sets of knees... all we know is, he's called the Stig.

I'd say so; if they're not doing the exercise right, I think that's kind of important information to know.

Depends entirely on how you go about it though. I wouldn't just walk up to someone and go "hurr durr ur doin it wrong"

Usually just mind your own business. People just want to work out in peace. If someone is doing something dangerous then you can say something.

I know I'd want someone to tell me if my form was going to cause me problems. Having nobody to guide me on some exercises is why I have lower back problems now. :/

As long as the person offering help isn't a dick about it, I don't see what the problem is.

No its bad etiquette to offer unsolicited advice unless they are in danger of injuring themselves or others.

Only give advice if 1. You're obviously more muscular than the person and 2. The person is doing something that's obviously going to injure them

Only if the way they are doing the exercise has a potential to injure them IMO.
