My ambivalence towards football has reached the point where I would get more catharsis if the "bad guys" won than I would get for them to lose.

it's more fun to root for the underdog. simple as that. the patriots are the champions and the "bullies" of football. so I root for their enemy. if I rooted for the patriots, it would be super boring.

I'm a Steelers fan who's rooting for the Patriots to beat our record simply because fuck everyone in Philly that's a sports fan. They're all terrible.

I'm going to my friend's house later. He's an Eagles fan. I'm not a fan of either team, but I'm going to take the Pats and bet him $1. I'm counting on the Pats to cheat their way to victory. :)
