Just because someone has fun/the game is popular doesnt mean the game is good.

I have fun with Destiny 2 and that game is horrid. It was also super popular at launch as well.

If you have fun with the game, thats your opinion. But I think its kind of funny how defensive youre getting when someone criticizes the game, even when they say they enjoy it. If you like it, thats fine. Dont have to get butthurt if someone else doesnt like it though.

I literally log in to D2 to do the raid once a week, if that. The PVP and other PvE stuff is legit garbage.

Also, just because you dont believe he has it doesnt make it true. Kind of makes you look sad with how vehemently youre dismissing his claims and how many excuses youre making to make it look like his claims are unverifiable. You probably dont even have it!!!!! The game is popular!!!!!

Again, if you like it, thats your opinion. I just think its funny the way youre acting here.

Got this game 2 days ago, and I have been in love with it. I absolutely love playing with my friends in the squad. I ended up winning a couple games last night which made me feel really good

the game is deeply flawed but that doesnt mean people can't still find it fun. Some people just have trouble enjoying games that lack technical competency since it makes the game an exercise in frustration when random bullshit happens due to the server deciding to update at 1Hz or trying to hit a guy with 400 ping. Being popular does not invalidate criticism of the game(and especially not criticism that has been around since day 1 but was handwaved by saying "its in beta!"), but the fact the game has issues doesnt mean it can't be fun for some people. I mean ffs I put like 70 hours in it before the technical problems made me move on. I can see the appeal but at some point I got tired of inconsistent bullshit that was never getting fixed and moved on.

But that's all he ever does. Gamer and I have had many exchanges over this game. This would be the first time he ever said he liked it. Any other time, he is trashing the technical aspect of the game and the overall model of gameplay and how its just a poor design.

So forgive me if I don't believe he actually likes the game seeing as he never has anything positive to say.

If I didn't like the game or play it I wouldn't know about the issues or care about them. Don't really recognize your name off the top of my head or remember talking with you about it but like I said in another post, I can't talk about the game without addressing the elephant in the room, which is that it's a fucking mess. Stuff can be a mess and you still enjoy something about it or it do some things right. And it's impossible not to mention Fortnite for the Battle Royale game mode since on a technical level it's actually a polished finished game.

I found myself slowly playing less and less of it even before my PC broke just because the issues were interfering with the fun factor when I'd spend 15-20mins prepping, collecting shit, finally found someone, emptied a mag into them very clearly on my screen, yet somehow they don't die, then my health immediately drops and I die instead. Nobody likes feeling like they were robbed by a game, it hurts the satisfaction of playing and is disheartening when things like that happen more than once and can happen again at any time.
Like in 7 Days for a long time minibikes were glitchy as hell where it was basically a dice roll if it would still be in your game when you started it back up. You'd spend hours finding all the shit you needed, build it, and be like "fuck yeah, I did it, I earned this" then log back in later and have to do it again because the game randomly lost it for no reason. It's not satisfying and hurts your drive to even get back into it because you know some random bullshit like that can happen.

There's a reason I don't enter topics on games I don't like at all or haven't played at all and randomly try to diagnose what's wrong with it.
