Yeah the mini hums are sick, they were the main reason I wanted a second SG. I might add a push/pull pot to activate the middle pickup to get the two normal positions that were omitted in favor of all 3 at once and bridge + neck

Ooh yeah, that's a really nice one too. Tbh I've never really looked at EB guitars before but these are really nice. How does it feel to play and everything?

Oh so they omitted the neck/bridge + middle? Either way yeah it never hurts to have more options

I'm currently in the process of wiring my LP Jimmy Page style with the 4 push/pulls, it'll be fun when it's done

Yeah, the positions go: 1-3 each pickup individually, 4 is all 3 with I believe the bridge out of phase with the other two, and 5 is neck + bridge, like the middle position on a standard HH guitar.

I had never given EB guitars much thought until recently tbh, I was only aware of the Stingray bass. Now I'm totally head over heels for them though, they have lots of modern high-grade appointments while still have designs that LOOK classy instead of the standard shredder fair (which they do offer as well). I only spent a little time with one in store before pulling the trigger, but the level of fit & finish is incredible; 5 bolt neck with sculpted heel, compensated nut, IMMACULATE finishes (I usually hate poly but they hit it outta the park), excellent truss rod design w the wheel, completely straight string path... I could keep going but you get the point lol

Basically it's probably the only guitar I could spend that kind of money on and still feel good about myself.
