My laptop is suddenly giving me a disk read error as I try to boot it up, no idea why, not sure how to fix it at the time, and I ain't running this from my phone or school computers, too much hassle.

Can't someone else just run it for now? Sure, but I don't have the spreadsheet on-hand. Whoever takes over will have to make their own. There's a chance that my laptop could be salvaged with no harm, from a preliminary analysis by my uni's IT people.
