I sold pretty much all my crypto. Only made a profit off of litecoin. Was in the negatives for the rest.

I made over $2k last year though so overall I made a profit.

I get it now, Crypto is the future and better than fiat currency because who doesn't love watching the value of a currency ping pong back and forth with the volatility of a stock market!

People were singing the same tune when ETH and BTC hit highs in the summer and then totally fell apart. ETH went from $416 to $135 and stayed in the $200 range, ocassionally hitting the higher $200s till November. BTC went to $3.5k and then fell to $1.5k and slowly made its way to $5k in like October, then fell back and forth till Thanksgiving when it broke $8k. LTC went from $95 to $35.

"All these charts say the gains are over"
"I told you so suckers"

Etc, etc. Then it bounced back into new highs. The same thing will happen. Once again, if shit like this didn't happen, then when an actual crash did happen, it would devastate the entire world economy.

The only reason this is exacerbated is because of Tether. Once their deal is confirmed or denied, things should resume.

Of course, I don't know the future and people are gonna say I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I've been through almost every BTC crash and have been in this since 2010. Things can always change, but the signs point to the same FUD once again.

I've been here since 2013 and held through the crash from 1000 to 200
it took 4 years to recover from that, and it did, but I don't know if I can be bothered holding for that time frame all over again

There is a huge difference between how popular cryptos were in 2013 and cryptos were one month ago. A huge amount of people invested on cryptos and lost money. Cryptos burned them so most of them will never come back. Bitcoin as a currency has been confirmed a gambling curreny to the public and it will never recover from this crash.

It'll create a bear market for sure, but once the lightening network is released things will recover.

I doubt recovery will even really take more than a few months. Everything is accelerated with cryptos. They dip fast and rise likewise.

Regardless, I'm not seeing much difference from all the panic crashes from just last year. Seems the guys come out the woodworks to rub it in and then disappear once things flip around, waiting to return one obvious day.
