I work overseas. I am always nervous about my language, my job, home country. I know I should enjoy my life (and I actually do, which I why I choose to), but anxiety sneaks up and makes me feel like I am bad at the language (even though I am better than average, at least, than most foreigners, and am constantly learning). I am good at my job, and I have a small support system from the local church, which really surprised me withh how normal and supportive they were.

Anyway,anyone else feel the same? I usually dont open up about this, but I am sick of feeling tis way. I have started exercise, sleeping better, tyring to be positive, being social, and it does help. I dont take my meds anymore, and that helps me a little, although the instant benefits of them were nice in a pinch.

And I'd say that's pretty normal, anxiety is there for a reason, keeps you aware of what to do to stay safe

If you didn't worry then you'd blow everything you had and end up crashing and burning

But it feels unreasonable. Yeah, it keeps you on your toes, but when no matter what you do you feel gross, it isnt right.

And I feel the same way in America as well, so it isnt about one place or another.

Maybe Ive just been burnt from bad jobs in the past. I had a cool job before, where I got fired because someone started spreading rumors about me for some strange reason About something I had no evidence to defend myself with (some seriously stupid he-said-she-said).
